Unicef
Impact Campaign: Film, Interactive Book, Radio, OOH
UNICEF Malak and the Boat
Directed by Ademus
As the Syrian refugee debate raged on, the only voices we didn’t hear were those of the more than 8 million children whose lives were torn apart by the war. Refugee children told us their stories, and we turned them into fairy tales - but without happy endings - to give the world a new point of view, and remind people that some stories were never meant for children.
The campaign quickly spread across the world to over 176 countries to more than half a billion people.
